Trip to Yakushima 2015

- a Unesco World heritage site
- one of the wettest places in Japan
- has the world-famous yakusugi (Cryptomeria japonica)

* 500のバスを待つ。100人くらいが待っている。みんな，山に行く格好をしている。
* トイレに行って，さらに待つ。わくわくする。他の人も同じだと思う。
* 520, 自然館から「荒川登山口」へ。二あるいは三台目のバスに乗って。
* ガイドさんのバックがとても大きく，みんなが注目する。90Lのグレゴリー。
後でわかったが，この中に，テントが２つ，「ツェルト」，大量の調理器具，食器など。
普通の家庭にあるものより大きな鍋も入っていた。相当重いはずだ。
* バスは満員の客を載せ，小雨が降る山をゆっくりと山に入って行く。

day-1 (2)

* １日目：朝の330に起床。荷物をまとめる。
*  宿の「食堂」で朝食をとる。オレンジジュース、フレーク，コーヒー牛乳。
*  400にガイドの奥さんが車で迎えにきてくれた。未だ外は真っ暗だ。
*  車の中でいろいろな話をした。旦那のガイドさんとは，島で出会い結婚。それから数年，島の暮らしを楽しんでいるようだ。優しそうな女性だ。

*  ガイドさんは，山に行っていない時は，安房の家の畑で野菜を作っているそうだ。

* 430、ガイドさんと一緒に参加するSさん母娘と自然館で合流。まだ暗い。
* Sさんは，埼玉から参加。元気な母娘。一緒に行くのが女性で嬉しい。

*  後で聞いたところ、奥さんは写真家。

A 2 day trek to Miyanoura-dake, 宮之浦岳一泊ツアー day-1 (1)

* I enjoyed a guide hiking tour by the following.

Along with two other guests and the guide, I trekked the mountains in full two days.
We started from Arakawa trailhead (604m), stayed at Shin-takatsuka huts,
climbed at Miyanoura-dake, the highest point in southern Japan,
and finished the hike at Yodogawa trailhead (1370m).
This was one of the best hike in my life.

朝の散歩が気持ち良い。

もう田植えが終わっている。

水に入りたい。

水のような流れたい。

どこに？どこかに。

I could go into the water.

I could flow like water into somewhere.

猿だった頃の記憶，ありますか？

森を歩いていたら，猿だったころの記憶がよみがえってきたような。

子供の頃の記憶だろうか。

memory of being an ape.

海もあります。

明日は雨か。
